im doing my best to post every second day

so far all is going well with that :)

SUNDAY

adam came over for the day and we watched most of friends season 5

he had to stay on my right side so i could hear him when he talked

it was a pretty good day

mom and dad went for dinner at our cousins house, i didnt go because my cousins house is really boring for me and bruce wasnt home but mom sent him a text

then at about 5:30 bruce came home and barged into my room (yes dont bother knocking)

bruce: wheres mom and dad?

me: at the petersens for dinner, mom sent you a message

bruce: idiot *holds up phone* its flat

yes bruce im sure mom could tell telepathically when your phone goes flat

mom came home and drove him over there for dinner

adam went home at about 6pm

i attempted to cook a premade lasagne for my dinner but it didnt cook properly and was all cold, which i found out after i took a bite and consequently felt sick for ages

MONDAY (today)

mom woke me up at 8, just before she left for work

i then got up because i couldnt get back to sleep

so i got up and showered and had brekkie and everything

then at about 9am a fella came to install a solar light in the hallway, its super bright like the sun :)

then i put pink, purple and blue hair dye into my hair. the results were disapointing.

the purple and pink turned out very similar in color and you cant really see the blue properly but i'll post some photos at the end of this post.

then at about 3:45pm i had a doctors appointment about my ear, i tried all your suggestions and nothing worked

i wont go into explanations because you dont need to know but i had to get my ear syringed, it felt so weird!

also the swelling in my knee has gone down heaps already :)

ive returned home alive :)


FRIDAY
woke up at 4am !!! D: it was horrible, 4am shouldnt exist. so i had a shower to try and wake up and i kind of fell asleep.
then i finished getting ready and packing and all that
then me, mom and dad got in the car and started the drive to brisbane
all was well and good until we got to gympie, then dad stopped at a rest stop and went and got himself breakfast, this was after 7am so i wasnt allowed to eat and you know what he did he ate it in the car right in front of me. i was so annoyed. he wanted to come and support me through my knee surgery and he eats in front of me! not that he needed to eat because he is pretty fat.
anyway then we finished the drive to brisbane and once we got into brisbane dad got lost.
it wouldve been much easier to catch a train to brisbane.

i eventually got to the hospital and got checked in and everything, dad got bored and went to the motel after 5 minutes
then i went into the first waiting room for about 4 minutes
then i went into a room and talked to a nurse to make sure i didnt have allergies or whatever and got my medical bracelet thing, the nurse put it on too loose i was able to slide it on and off my wrist easily.
then i got given the gown and stuff to change into.
then i was in the next waiting room, waiting.
then i talked to the anethatist, he asked me questions and everything.
then back into the waiting room
i wasnt taken into the next waiting room until nearly 2pm
in the final and last waiting room i got to lay in a bed with two heated blankets :) oh how i love heated blankets, and the assistant anethatist talked to me about what exactly would be happening during my surgery.
and then finally i was wheeled into the operating theatre.
i had to slide across to the operating table, luckily i got to keep my heated blankets with me because it was a bit cold in there.
then the anethatist let me watch him put the drip needle into my hand! the last one didnt let me watch. and then he let me help by pulling a plug out of it :D
then he put in the stuff that relaxes you and makes you a little lightheaded and then thats all i remember from that part
then i woke up in recovery, that was confusing because i was still kind of out of it but i remember they had to monitor my heart because it was beating too fast.
then when i was more properly awake one of the male nurses said to me "here comes bob with your bed" then i was slid across to my bed and wheeled up to my room where i proceeded to have a nap.
not much else happened that night

SATURDAY (today)
drove home
i was lying on the couch earlier on my hiptop and i went on msn and all of a sudden riley was asking all these questions about my surgery which id told him about on wedensday so i basically said to him "you would know all of this if youd simply taken an interest when i first told you"
and he just got all princessy and stuff so i logged off.
then when i logged on just now hes all buddy buddy again so i dunno, seems he wants to talk when hes got a complaint or something to brag about.

i also have two little cuts one above and one beside my knee from where the surgeon cleaned out scar tissue.
my knee looks a bit of a mess really with one huge scar down the middle and now 5 little cuts around it.

mari; i know i love bargains to! when i get a good one its like YEA MAN, i havent gotten to wear my bargain shirt yet though!
sam; i shouldve gone to that grade 10 bbq!! haha i'll be on the train again on the 9th so if you can organise to be in the station then yea :)


also im half deaf and have been since yesterday. you know how sometimes when you like get out of the shower or out of the pool or something after swimming and you cant hear properly through your ears and then you like pop them and their all good again, well thats basically what my left ear is like except i havent been able to get it back to normal and its been like this since friday morning, its starting to be quite annoying. ive tried ear drops and everything, anyone got other suggestions? i think moms gonna drag me to the doctors if it doesnt get better.

i uploaded the photos first so i didnt forget :) those are the only ones ive gotten so yea

uhhm what else

thursday last week; had to do my speech =/

to be honest i think it went terribly

i was the last to have to do my speech and my voice was all like wobbly and kind of quiet

i jsut really dont like it how everyone in my class just sat there and watched and actually listened

i was like ARGH oh shit oh shit!

but maybe it went okay

monday; went on the tilt train to brizzie, it was pretty good. except the person sitting behind me kept banging something on the back of my seat so to get back at them i reclined my seat right back :D

tuesday; caught a taxi from the hotel to the airport DFO, the taxi driver mustve been like a speed demon or dreamt of being a racecar driver because a trip that usually costs $50 only cost $30, but that was pretty good.

at dfo i bought a tonne of things

though i cant quite remember everything but i do remember one bargain, it was a red singlet type shirt with faded style sequins on the front and it was $160 marked down to $36 so i was like WOOOOOOO

also i nearly died

well okay not really, but i could have!! i was walking through a door and nearly tripped over a mat and jarred my knee, it was kinda painful

After that we caught a cab back into the city so I could see dr hayes for my appointment
At my appointment I found out I've developed adhesions in my knee where a tendon was grafted across to create a new ligament or something which means my knee isn't going to bend further than it already does now.
So anyway I have to go back to brisbane on friday for an incredibly minor operation which really in truth isn't an operation, basically they put me under anesthetic then dr hayes forces my knee to bend which will create a loud cracking noise meaning the adhesions have been snapped. Awesome :)
Then I'm just in hospital overnight because I have to have my leg on some continuous movement machine then dads driving us home, he's also driving me and mom there.
Also on tuesday I was at roma street station sitting at platform 10 and I was looking across then I thought I'd seen sammy at platform 6 and I was like OMG and I texted her but it wasn't her just someone with the same school uniform.

Not much else has been happening, I'm watching house at the moment.

sorry i realise its wednesday and i really meant to post sunday but i didnt because i wasnt really in a very good mood and then i kinda just left it until now.

so a recap

FRIDAY

didnt go to school because i dont remember but i didnt

SATURDAY

adam came over and we watched movies, it was a pretty good day.

SUNDAY

the teachers party. well that was a disaster and a half. for me anyway.

it was okay i guess but it couldve been better really.

first off, a couple days before the party riley was saying how he'd sit with me and keep me company because i cant really go down and walk on the sand as itd hurt my knee and my walking stick would sink into the sand so i was like yea sure okay if you want. well at the party he mustve spent a whole 2 minutes with me, just long enough to take a couple of photos with me his 'best friend' and then runs off to go frolic with the popular pretty girls. yea great best friend he is when its convenient to him.

well atleast one person realised i was there, her name is lucy and i havent mentioned her much but shes really nice and she sat with me the whole party.

but yea it was kinda lonely because ofcourse there were games and stuff happening that everyone who wasnt injured had to partake in, me being the only injured person was left alone.

so for the end of this post i have some photos to put in if i have time which i probably wont because my stupid idiodic brother wants the computer so he can look at tool, TOOLS! no not naked pornography tools but normal tools, YOU CAN WALK INTO A FUCKING SHOP AND LOOK AT TOOLS!!!! gah he pisses me off something bad.

also on sunday i had to write a speech for english, i loathe speeches, so all in all sunday sucked.

MONDAY

went to school

TUESDAY

didnt go to school because it was raining and i could slip over and break my neck or die or whatever.

also last night me and adam went to see SAW V it was pretty good, i reccomend it as long as youve seen the first four SAW movies :)

i have to log off now but i'll save this and finish it on my phone, so no photos this post i'll put them on next post. be back in a sec.

WEDNESDAY (today)
Went to school and practiced my speech, I should hopefully go alright.
It was okay but fairly not okay.
Tonight bruce came home in a shit mood going on about whatever. Then he said something about having more money than mom and dad so I asked why he doesn't move out, life would be so much better without him. Anyway when I asked him that both mom and dad looked at him and said something about chris (his boyfriend?) and then went on to be a fuckhead asking when I'm gonna buy a car, when I'm gonna get a job, when I'm gonna stop pretending I had knee surgery.

Anyway the computer keeps restarting itself, the screen goes black and then it does all those things it does when it restarts, it is so very incredibly frustrating.

Tomorrow I'm not going into school until first lunch then I have to do my speech after that and then I'm going home second lunch so it hopefully shouldn't be a too bad day.

And next weeek on monday and tuesdya I'm in brisbane for hopefully my last appointment with the knee specialist doctor.

I've been reading all your blogs but just don't comment all the time sorry.

There's also something else kind of bothering me. So I've been trying to fix up the friendship with riley right but really he still only talks to me if he has a problem or if he has something to complain about but the other day I said something about not feeling very happy and he just stopped talking to me just as soon as I said that. Also riley and adam are kinda friends right, that's okay I suppose but I don't really like it. I don't want to be the bitchy girlfriend but I'd really rather if they weren't friends because really for awhile now its felt like rileys only really stayed friends with me because he wants to be friends with adam.
I mean honestly riley thinks he's adams best friend sorta thing but they hardly know eachother! They've met twice and they didn't really talk at all on either of those occasions. I guess I just really don't like them being friends.
Tell me honestly, does that make me totally spoiled and bitchy? =/

so its the 13th november today and i havent posted since the 1st
ive only missed 12 days.

so whats happened in the past 2 weeks christine??

8th november
mine and adams 5 month aniversary thing :)

and thats the only thing i can really remember specifically.


ive been going to school and watching tv mostly and seeing adam sometimes.

also at school since i cant go upstairs im in special education block and its usally pretty lonely there because like the teacher aides dont help me because i dont need it and yea it gets lonely
anyway on monday of this week a new kid came in, hes not really new but hes not usually in spez ed. hes in there now because he broke his leg riding a motorcycle and ran into a fence.

what else.

i got invited to the Ignite christmas party, im suprized about that because i havent taught or been at dancing for ages. so thats on this sunday, its at the beach so hopefully the weathers good otherwise you gotta ring mrs smith for an alternate party venue.

uhhm not much else is happening.

i will do my best to post again saturday or sunday :)
