  Biografía

El Dr. Marcel Pontón es Profesor Clínico Asociado en el Departamento de Psiquiatría de la Universidad de California Los Angeles (UCLA), Profesor Adjunto de Consejería Pastoral en el Seminario de Fuller y Profesor Visitante de la Universidad de Sevilla. Saliendo de Venezuela en 1979 como estudiante internacional, él obtuvo su Licenciatura en Psicología y Biblia en Wheaton College (Wheaton, IL) en 1983 y se graduó del Seminario Teológico Fuller en 1989 con una Maestría en Teología y un Ph.D. en Psicología Clínica. Luego cursó estudios de post-doctorado en la Universidad de California Los Angeles en donde enseña desde 1992.

El Dr. Pontón dirige una clínica de evaluaciones neuropsicológicas para el Hospital de Harbor-UCLA y tiene su consultorio privado en ciudad de Pasadena.

El enseña en Latino-América y España en el área de trauma y daño cerebral y ha publicado muchos artículos en revistas técnicas. Es también el co-autor de Neuropsicología y el Paciente Hispano: Un Manual Clínico.
